Connor Holm (President): Biomedical Sciences Major, Connor has researched Lung Biology and Injections.
Everything matters because you can have the ability to have medical research to find new discoveries. There are also laboratory work to discover new illnesses. To get involve with the ASBMB you can become an MCI assistants or go ahead to try and find clinical and scribing jobs to get a head start.
Connor researchers Pseudomonas aeruginosa which is similar to Pneumonia. The bacteria goes up to the cell like a gun which shoots this bacteria which are called Caspase and then this leads to cell death such as Apoptosis.
Kyle Gaviria(Secretary): Volunteered in a Chemistry Research Lab @ USA which helped solidify his passion for science and research.
Cheyenne Strickland(Outreach Chair): Biomedical Sciences Major, Research about Physiology and Cell Biology.
Dr. Taylor helped her research calcium signaling dynamics in atherosclerosis and lung microvascular. Started off with doing surgeries on mouses which gave her a better idea of what actual surgery would be like. After doing surgeries on mice she then looks under a microscope to show more about the lungs and the microscopes show many different colors which reveal new things.
Caleb Lopansri(Treasurer): Biomedical Sciences Major with Concentration in Public and Global Health.
