This week in Biomed, we had a busy week. We had a field trip on Thursday, and we went to Saad's, where we got to participate in a boxing class with patients who suffer from Parkinson's disease. I really enjoyed being able to participate in this activity. We did three rounds of these exercises, and after the first round, I was genuinely tired and exhausted. I do not understand how these patients did that and were not ready to give up. My favorite thing was watching the patients participate in boxing. This one man was so precious and was trying his hardest no matter what.

We also practiced moulage for our injuries for the mass casualty drill for next week. I practiced on Hannah doing gunshots, burns, and lacerations. I was able to fix the way I did things so that it would be good and look realistic for mass casualty. I am super excited, I have a gunshot wound to my leg with bright red bleeding and can not wait to see how it turns out.
