This week, we were able to visit a Toastmasters meeting. It was actually quite an amazing experience to be a part of this. When imagining what it would be like, I thought it would be very professional and strict, but it was very laid back, and there were many times it was funny, and we all laughed. My favorite part of the meeting was the Table Topics. This is when there is a person at the podium who has a list of random questions, and the responder has 1-2 minutes to improv, and you do not know you are answering the question until after the topic is called. It was very cool to see how different people use different strategies when they are nervous and have to come up with an answer so quickly and fast. I also liked that they incorporated a joke within their meeting, and it was actually a funny one.

We also did a Romeo Cupidon packet for a fun Valentine’s Day activity. We were able to have a fun time with a packet of diagnosing Cupid of the problems he has been suffering from. It was kind of difficult at first, but after I did the first couple of pages, I got an understanding of it and figured it out. I wish we could do some more things like this. I had really fun and learned a lot from it.
