This week started off with us being able to sit in and watch the 8th-grade class presentations. They made casts to help stabilize people with cerebral palsy. It is a cool experience that young kids get to start off at a young age with biomedical projects. I also started adding some touches to my research paper. I focused on fixing my pharamcology section. I am really having a good time with my paper because it is helping me gain more knowledge about orthodontics. I like starting my work Monday in class and then doing a little bit each day which has helped me with organizing and not being stressed out.

Now onto the escape room clues, we were able to come up with an escape room and we need to gather clues to help the students be able to escape. One of the clues I like is the handwashing steps. We recently did this in class and is a very specific procedure. This is our clue "Puzzle: Small pieces with different images of handwashing steps (e.g., applying soap, scrubbing, rinsing) scattered around the room. Players need to find and arrange the images in the correct hand-washing sequence. Once the sequence is completed, they see a message, “Don’t forget – use soap, not hand sanitizer,” directing them to the sink for handwashing after patient contact."
