----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

with Detective Garside

Today we had our investigation of the crime scene. It felt like an actual crime scene and everything was set up very precisely. We had to work together as a team to solve the crime scene. We had two scribes, one questioner, four photographs, and three investigators. We all used certain skills to solve the mystery murder.

Crime Scene:

We first encountered Dave whose hand was covered in blood and he had a towel that was dripping with blood. Then we walked into the Innovations Lab where his wife was laying dead with a gunshot wound in the heart (near her temples). There was a splatter of blood behind her from where the blood at splattered after she was shot. We had to look for fingerprints, electronic clues, body scars, and anything that was a part of the crime scene. We had to be very careful to not mess with evidence.

Here are some of the things we found:

- When talking to Dave he said:

"I loved her"

"I tried to help her"

"I want an attorney"

- Dave had bought a gun the night before

- Dave's recent searches

"How to kill someone with no trace?"

"How to commit the perfect murder?"

Computer

-We took the computer and started printing and downloading it

-We screwed up evidence but we are still printing

-It was corrupted so no info downloaded

-Fingerprints

Extra Things to do:

- Analyze Blood Splatter

- No blood on the victim's hands

- Gun and Body are still hot and warm

- The wife was sitting down when she was shot

- The gun was missing a bullet

- Check the gunshot wound, bullet, and the diameter of the gun to see if they match up

- No defensive wounds

- Wife was questioning the marriage and affair with his sister
